The games industry has many success stories both in Finland and Sweden. During the years, some successive companies have accumulated lots of experience on company development, leadership, and networking on an international level. However, many small and medium-sized companies (SMEs) need this kind of expertise, especially in rural areas.

X Border Support4Games -project aims to boost the competitiveness and innovation processes of the games industry SMEs in the Österbotten and Västerbotten regions. Objective of the project is to bring these SMEs together and provide them knowledge and tools to help them develop their business capabilities.

Project aims to build foundation for a cross-border game accelerator; a platform that would ensure a sustainable and long-term support for the SMEs. This would also help them to find new export markets and create more collaboration.
